Section H includes interviews with Ashbery.
Only the first publication of Section H items, whether in books or periodicals, is given a complete citation. All known reprints are mentioned in the notes field of the citation.
Interviews conducted by Ashbery with an interviewee are not included in Section H. They appear in Section A or Section B if published in a book (or in Section E if Ashbery interviews an artist about his/her work), and they appear in Section C if published in a periodical (or in Section F if Ashbery interviews an artist about his/her work).
The subjects discussed in interviews with Ashbery are specified in the notes fields of those citations. A list of the standardized terminology used for this purpose, along with additional information, may be found in the chapter on interview subject terms.
